Shrungagiri Hill – Shanmukha Temple Bangalore

Many of you might have heard the place Rajarajeshwari Nagar near Mysore road. Many of you might also have visited lord Rajarajeshwari devi temple as well. Recently ,just  5 kms from there I saw another temple of Shanmukha. “Shanmuka” means Six face. Lord Shanukha has six faces. He is also known as Subramanya, Karthikeya, Murugan, Skanda….The main attraction of the temple is the gopuram which contains six faces of Lord Shanmukha. The six faces of Lord Shanmukha are thick concrete moulded structures.

The temple is situated 240 ft. At top the temple is covered with LED which emits 16 different combination of light,and at night ,its feast for eyes to watch it.
